What is the Day Score and how is it calculated?
Your Day Score reflects your diet and lifestyle choices. It measures the fluctuations in your blood glucose levels throughout the day. The goal is to avoid large spikes and dips, as they can lead to energy crashes and cell damage.
The Day Score is based on four key factors:
1️⃣ Adaptability – How quickly does your blood glucose return to baseline after a meal? The faster, the better.
2️⃣ Variability – Smooth glucose curves are better than sharp spikes and dips.
3️⃣ Max Glucose – The highest glucose value of the day. Keeping it below 140 mg/dl is ideal.
4️⃣ Time in Range – The percentage of time your glucose stays within the optimal range (80-110 mg/dl). The more, the better.
A high Day Score (>80) means you’re keeping your glucose stable through smart food choices and habits. 😊
