The CGM sensor is water-resistant but not waterproof. You can shower and sweat while wearing the sensor. However, it is not recommended to swim for longer than 30 minutes or dive deeper than 1 meter. This could lead to inaccurate readings or sensor malfunctions. In addition, prolonged exposure to moisture can reduce adhesion.
The sensor has not been tested in salt water or the sea. It is best not to expose the device to these conditions, or to do so as little as possible.
For additional adhesion, we recommend wearing a plaster or our enclosed patches.
Tip: If you do not have a plaster, we recommend covering the sensor with tape, e.g., Physio Tape.
