What do I need to bear in mind when attaching the sensor?

  1. Clean the area of skin where you want to place the sensor. Use a normal soap (non-moisturizing) to remove skin oils and dead skin cells.
  2. After washing off the soap, allow the area of your arm to dry completely.
After cleaning, wait until your skin is completely dry (do not blow on it) before applying the sensor.
  3. Choose the right spot: Find a soft spot on the back of your upper arm to apply your sensor. You should avoid muscle tissue.
  4. Do the movement test: Place the sensor in a location that will not interfere with your exercise routine. This will help prevent you from accidentally rubbing the sensor off. For example, do push-ups, squats, or a yoga pose to see how wide your range of motion is and where a sensor can be placed.
  5. Choose an arm: Unless you sleep on your stomach or back, you probably have a preferred sleeping side. We recommend placing the sensor on the arm you don't normally sleep on.
  6. Timing is everything: Make sure you don't eat anything for 2 hours before and after applying the sensor.
  7. Keep your arm and skin relaxed when applying the sensor. If you tense your skin, there may be problems with adhesion.
  8. Check the edges: After applying your sensor, make sure that the edges of the sticker are firmly attached to your skin. Simply press them down around the sensor.
  9. Be patient and avoid exercising, showering, or swimming for about 1-2 hours after applying the sensor. This will make it less likely that the sensor will come off later.
  10. Protect your sensor: We recommend sticking a patch on the sensor for extra protection, especially if you move around a lot and exercise regularly. If you don't have a patch, you can also use physio tape to protect the sensor.

Enjoy your journey of discovery!
