- Be careful with your towel when drying yourself after showering. Gently pat yourself dry around the sensor instead of rubbing.
- Do not sleep on your CGM. We recommend wearing it on the arm you do not intend to sleep on.
- If you participate in contact sports or team sports, we recommend securing the sensor with tape.
- During massages, the therapist should avoid this area. We recommend talking to your therapist beforehand or waiting until you have removed the CGM.
- When putting on a sports bra, we recommend starting with the “sensor arm” so that you have a little more room to maneuver.
- The CGM must be removed for CT or MR scans.
- Vitamin C infusions may cause malfunction. Please do not plan any vitamin C infusions while wearing the sensor.
- The CGM sensor is water-resistant but not waterproof. You can shower and sweat while wearing the sensor. However, swimming for longer than 30 minutes or diving deeper than 1 meter is not recommended. This could lead to inaccurate readings or sensor malfunctions. In addition, prolonged exposure to moisture can reduce adhesion.
- The sensor has not been tested in salt water or the ocean. It is best to avoid exposing the device to these conditions or to do so as little as possible.
